If the death occurred at home, call 911 and have them taken to a hospital or funeral home to confirm the death. This is necessary for you to obtain the death certificate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can obtain the death certificate from a funeral home or medical examiner.
